Printing a photograph straight onto bare timber sounds appealing but rarely looks great – the grain shows through the image, the wood takes the ink unevenly, and the result comes out flat and washed out. Our blocks have a smooth white face, so your photo is printed onto white rather than into wood, meaning the details are crisp and perfect, just as they should be.

To add to the beauty the four edges show the layered construction of the block. It is an unusual finish, and for that reason it stands out and catches visitors attention.

Choose from a10cm x 10cm square or a 10cm x 15cm rectangular block that we can printed landscape or portrait, depending on the photo. Both are 18mm deep, which is what allows them to stand without a stand, a prop or a hook.

A photo block is a good answer to the person who says they do not want anything, it is not another mug, it is not something they have to wear, and it does not need a hook in the wall. Perfect for Grandparents who want to display their family on the mantelpiece – pride of place. They make wonderful wedding thank you’s, a pet memorial, a first Father’s Day, a leaving present with the team photo on it, or one of a set that builds up along a shelf over a few years.

One photograph, no wording, so there is no layout to approve and no proof stage. We position the photo you send to make the most of it at the size you have chosen and we will best fit the image to the block you choose. We recommend you consider the image you want before ordering, then choose the most appropriate size – for example a wide family shot at a wedding will require the 10x15cm version to ensure no one is missed off.

How to upload your photos

When you have made a purchase you will be sent a link and instructions to upload your photos on our easy to use photo uploader.
This will allow you to upload multiple photos at the same time, see the photos already uploaded to order them and remove any uploaded by mistake.

Environment

We aim to produce gifts that are 100% recyclable, and we encourage all those enjoying opening envelopes to recycle them after they’ve completed their activities.

Our boxes are 100% recyclable, and are constructed from ‘greyboard’ which is made from a mix of recycled and waste paper. The outer wrap paper is also recyclable.

Where possible, the paper we use for our card and envelopes is sourced from FSC-certified suppliers.

Shipping Information

We wish we could hand deliver every order placed with us. Unfortunately, this isn’t possible – so we have to rely on the postman.

Most items ship for free in the UK. Where free delivery applies, it is clearly shown in the product information, so you will know before you order.

Free UK delivery is sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48 to mainland UK addresses. These are usually delivered within 2-3 working days, but this is not guaranteed.

We offer an upgrade to Tracked 24 (next working day) or express, which is sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery.

You can choose to have your order delivered to your own address, sent directly to the recipient, or delivered to a Royal Mail parcel locker or collection point convenient for you. Please note the lockers will hold the order for 3 days, and returned orders will be subject to an additional charge to resend.

We also offer free international shipping on orders over £60 to most countries. Our international orders are sent via Royal Mail International, and tracked depending on the destination.

Tracking is provided on all orders once dispatched and will be shown in your dispatch email.

We aim to send your order within 1 working day of receiving your payment. Orders received before 12pm UK time will be shipped the same day (excluding weekends and bank holidays).

*Shipping will be calculated at checkout, and any delivery costs required will be added at this point.

Unframed prints are printed in-house with great care. We print on 250gsm premium matt paper using a set of 12 ink colours to get your print looking just as it should.

Every canvas is:

• Handmade with great care.
• Printed with genuine, pigment, fade-resistant inks that will not fade for 100+ years.
• Supplied with a dentate (sawtooth) hanger so they are ready to hang on your wall.
• Individually bubble wrapped and carefully packed in a sturdy, custom-made box for total protection of your print.
