What’s inside the box

How the dates work

Each card holds one date idea, written to be interpreted to suit your lifestyle, your budget and the time you have. Some are an evening, some are a whole day together. There is a mix of things you may never have thought to try and ideas you will want to do again. Many can be done at home, so a busy week can still have a date in it.

The two blank cards are for the dates only the two of you know about. Write one each, seal it, and mix it in with the rest so it turns up as a surprise. If you are giving the box to someone else, you can fill one in before you wrap it.

A Christmas present that lasts the year

Most Christmas presents are finished by Boxing Day. This one will last all year, and help create memories to last a lifetime. Buy it for your other half, as a present for the two of you, or for another couple: newlyweds, the newly engaged, or the pair who say they never get out any more.

Personalising the box

The box is always black, with your text printed in white and surrounded with hearts in shades of red. Add a name, or a short message such as the couple’s names, a date or an in-joke. We print exactly what you type and there is no proof, so check the spelling before you order. Personalised boxes are made to order and cannot be returned for a change of mind.

Sending it as a Christmas gift

To send the box straight to the recipient, add their address in the shipping details at checkout. Add a gift note and we will print it and include it with the order. Every order ships in plain packaging, so nothing on the outside gives away what is inside. The expected delivery date for your order is shown by the Add to basket button.

Environment

We aim to produce gifts that are 100% recyclable, and we encourage all those enjoying opening envelopes to recycle them after they’ve completed their activities.

Our boxes are 100% recyclable, and are constructed from ‘greyboard’ which is made from a mix of recycled and waste paper. The outer wrap paper is also recyclable.

Where possible, the paper we use for our card and envelopes is sourced from FSC-certified suppliers.

Shipping Information

We wish we could hand deliver every order placed with us. Unfortunately, this isn’t possible – so we have to rely on the postman.

Most items ship for free in the UK. Where free delivery applies, it is clearly shown in the product information, so you will know before you order.

Free UK delivery is sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48 to mainland UK addresses. These are usually delivered within 2-3 working days, but this is not guaranteed.

We offer an upgrade to Tracked 24 (next working day) or express, which is sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery.

You can choose to have your order delivered to your own address, sent directly to the recipient, or delivered to a Royal Mail parcel locker or collection point convenient for you. Please note the lockers will hold the order for 3 days, and returned orders will be subject to an additional charge to resend.

We also offer free international shipping on orders over £60 to most countries. Our international orders are sent via Royal Mail International, and tracked depending on the destination.

Tracking is provided on all orders once dispatched and will be shown in your dispatch email.

We aim to send your order within 1 working day of receiving your payment. Orders received before 12pm UK time will be shipped the same day (excluding weekends and bank holidays).
