A personalised tin of ways to spend time together

Most couples don’t stop wanting to spend time together. They just stop getting round to it. Work, children, tiredness and screens fill the evenings, and conversations shrink to who’s picking up what. The Connections Edition is a small personalised tin of cards that gives the two of you something to do, something to talk about or something to play for, whenever you have an evening and no plan.

There’s no order to follow and nothing to keep up with. Leave it on the side, open it when you think of it, and choose a card or pull one out at random.

What’s inside the tin

The tin holds 36 cards in three sets of 12, a lucky sixpence and a leaflet explaining how to use it.

12 date ideas

Simple dates you can do at home with little planning, alongside ideas you can organise and look forward to together. The cards aren’t sealed, so you can read through them and pick one that fits the time you actually have.

12 conversation starters

Prompts to share the stories you haven’t told each other yet and talk about what you’d still like to do, from a childhood memory to planning your dream holiday. They work on an evening in or over dinner out.

12 couples vouchers

Small treats to give and claim, such as a massage or control of the TV remote for the night. When a card asks you to decide who gets what, flip the sixpence.

A game of snap

The backs of the cards make a game of snap for two. How competitive it gets is up to you.

Personalised with the couple’s names

The silver tin is printed with the couple’s names in white, with the heart and design in red, yellow or green. Choose your colour using the swatches, pick one of the two fonts, and enter the names as they should read, for example “Kate & Tom”.

We print the names exactly as they’re entered and there’s no proof, so check the spelling before you order. As each tin is personalised, it can’t be returned for a change of mind.

Size

The tin measures 11 x 8 cm, small enough for a stocking and easy to keep within reach on a shelf or bedside table.

A gift for couples, at Christmas and through the year

At Christmas it works as a stocking filler for your partner, or a small gift to open together on Christmas morning. It’s also a Valentine’s Day gift for couples, a birthday present for your other half, and a 10th wedding anniversary gift, since tin is the traditional material for ten years of marriage. It makes a wedding present for another couple too.

Orders ship in plain packaging, so nothing is given away on the doorstep, and you can add a gift message at checkout that we print and include with the order.

Environment

We aim to produce gifts that are 100% recyclable, and we encourage all those enjoying opening envelopes to recycle them after they’ve completed their activities.

Our boxes are 100% recyclable, and are constructed from ‘greyboard’ which is made from a mix of recycled and waste paper. The outer wrap paper is also recyclable.

Where possible, the paper we use for our card and envelopes is sourced from FSC-certified suppliers.

Shipping Information

We wish we could hand deliver every order placed with us. Unfortunately, this isn’t possible – so we have to rely on the postman.

Most items ship for free in the UK. Where free delivery applies, it is clearly shown in the product information, so you will know before you order.

Free UK delivery is sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48 to mainland UK addresses. These are usually delivered within 2-3 working days, but this is not guaranteed.

We offer an upgrade to Tracked 24 (next working day) or express, which is sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery.

You can choose to have your order delivered to your own address, sent directly to the recipient, or delivered to a Royal Mail parcel locker or collection point convenient for you. Please note the lockers will hold the order for 3 days, and returned orders will be subject to an additional charge to resend.

We also offer free international shipping on orders over £60 to most countries. Our international orders are sent via Royal Mail International, and tracked depending on the destination.

Tracking is provided on all orders once dispatched and will be shown in your dispatch email.

We aim to send your order within 1 working day of receiving your payment. Orders received before 12pm UK time will be shipped the same day (excluding weekends and bank holidays).
