A cosy night in, sent to someone who needs one

Some people never stop. They are the ones who remember everyone’s birthday, keep the house running and are still answering messages at ten o’clock at night. This box is a way of telling them to stop for an evening: light the candle, put the socks on, make a hot drink and leave everything else until tomorrow.

It works as a Christmas present for a sister or a close friend, a Mother’s Day gift for a mum who never sits down, a thinking of you gift when someone is having a hard few weeks, or a get well soon for a friend stuck at home.

What is in the Cosy Night In

A Seventeen Minutes candle

Our own soy candles, hand poured in the Outer Hebrides. You choose the scent from our current range, which runs from lavender and amber to blood orange, sandalwood and vanilla, and mistletoe for the festive season.

Cosy cuff socks

Soft socks in a warm wool blend with a folded cuff, one size. Choose the colour and pattern that suits them, from pink hearts to grey paw prints.

A sweet treat

Choose a full-size chocolate bar, with flavours from salted caramel to sticky toffee pudding, or a bundle of retro sweets for someone who would rather have a bag to dip into.

A hot drink

Choose a tea, a coffee or a hot chocolate spoon to stir into warm milk. There is decaf coffee too, for anyone who wants a late brew without lying awake.

How it arrives

Everything is packed together in a box and nicely presented, ready to hand over or open on the doorstep.

Making it theirs

Because you pick every item, the box can be built around the person. Choose their favourite colour of socks, the scent you know they like, and the drink they would make for themselves.

Sending it as a gift

To send the Cosy Night In straight to the recipient, add their address in the shipping details at checkout and include a gift note. We print the note and include it with the order. Everything goes out in plain packaging, so nothing gives the contents away on the doorstep, and no prices or invoices are included in the parcel.

The estimated delivery date shown by the Add to basket button tells you when it should arrive.

Ingredients

Ingredients and allergen information are printed on every food and drink item. To check them before you order, you can find each treat and drink in our treats range, with full details on its own page. If you are buying for someone with an allergy or dietary need, get in touch and we will help you choose.

Environment

We aim to produce gifts that are 100% recyclable, and we encourage all those enjoying opening envelopes to recycle them after they’ve completed their activities.

Our boxes are 100% recyclable, and are constructed from ‘greyboard’ which is made from a mix of recycled and waste paper. The outer wrap paper is also recyclable.

Where possible, the paper we use for our card and envelopes is sourced from FSC-certified suppliers.

Shipping Information

We wish we could hand deliver every order placed with us. Unfortunately, this isn’t possible – so we have to rely on the postman.

Most items ship for free in the UK. Where free delivery applies, it is clearly shown in the product information, so you will know before you order.

Free UK delivery is sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48 to mainland UK addresses. These are usually delivered within 2-3 working days, but this is not guaranteed.

We offer an upgrade to Tracked 24 (next working day) or express, which is sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery.

You can choose to have your order delivered to your own address, sent directly to the recipient, or delivered to a Royal Mail parcel locker or collection point convenient for you. Please note the lockers will hold the order for 3 days, and returned orders will be subject to an additional charge to resend.

We also offer free international shipping on orders over £60 to most countries. Our international orders are sent via Royal Mail International, and tracked depending on the destination.

Tracking is provided on all orders once dispatched and will be shown in your dispatch email.

We aim to send your order within 1 working day of receiving your payment. Orders received before 12pm UK time will be shipped the same day (excluding weekends and bank holidays).
