A teenage birthday gift that beats another twenty in a card

Teenagers are hard to buy for. Ask them what they want and the answer is money. This gives you something to actually put in their hands on the day, with their age printed large on the lid and a message from you, so it reads as a gift and not an afterthought. It suits birthdays from 13 through to 18, including the in-between ones that can feel tricky to mark.

What is inside

Each box holds two retro sweet bars and four 100g bags of traditional sweet shop favourites. Expect the likes of cola cubes, rhubarb and custards, pear drops, flying saucers and fruit salads. The exact mix depends on what is in stock, so it varies box to box, but it is always a proper pick and mix.

Make it theirs

Add two lines of your own text, for a name, a message or a running family joke. Choose rainbow, purple or green. We print and pack every box in-house, so what you type is what gets made. Check the spelling before ordering, as personalised boxes cannot be returned.

Sweets they can actually eat

All the sweets are suitable for vegetarians. There are no major allergen families in the selection, so no egg and no dairy. They are made in a factory that also handles nuts, so there may be traces. A complete ingredient and allergen list is included in the box.

A box that keeps

The box measures 20 x 20 x 10cm and is 100% recyclable, made from greyboard using recycled and waste paper. The sweets keep well, good for at least 28 days and usually around six months, so you can order ahead of the birthday without worrying. Once they are gone the box is sturdy enough to refill or to store the bits a teenager never has a home for.

Getting it there on time

This box ships free and in plain packaging. We aim to dispatch within one working day, and orders placed before 1pm on a working day go the same day. Express next-day is available at checkout if the birthday is close. Send it to yourself, straight to the birthday teenager, or to a parcel locker.

Environment

We aim to produce gifts that are 100% recyclable, and we encourage all those enjoying opening envelopes to recycle them after they’ve completed their activities.

Our boxes are 100% recyclable, and are constructed from ‘greyboard’ which is made from a mix of recycled and waste paper. The outer wrap paper is also recyclable.

Where possible, the paper we use for our card and envelopes is sourced from FSC-certified suppliers.

Shipping Information

We wish we could hand deliver every order placed with us. Unfortunately, this isn’t possible – so we have to rely on the postman.

We offer free Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivery on orders to the mainland UK over £20. These are usually delivered within 2-3 working days, but this is not guaranteed.
We offer an upgrade to Tracked 24 (next working day) or express which is sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery.

You can choose to have your order delivered to your own address, sent directly to the recipient or delivered to a Royal Mail parcel locker or collection point convenient for you. Please note the lockers will hold the order for 3 days, returned orders will be subject to additional charge to resend.

We also offer free international shipping on orders over £60 to most countries.

Our international orders are sent via Royal Mail International, and tracked depending on the destination.

Tracking is provided on all orders once dispatched and will be shown in your dispatch email.

We aim to send your order within 1 working day of receiving your payment. Orders received before 1pm UK time will be shipped the same day (excluding weekends and bank holidays).
