Picnic date (deja vu!)

With the sun finally shining (it is August isn’t it?!) we decided that it was time for a picnic! We had plans to visit friends with a little baby in the afternoon but thought we’d head out in the morning, and similar to repeating breakfast in bed we decided to head back to the scene of our first picnic date, Fleetwood and attempt to get out of the car this time!Well me managed it! As tradition dictates we stopped for coffee on the way in the village of Greenhalgh, it’s got to be done! Then head for the seaside, despite the wind it was warm so we managed a walk on the prom and we ate on a bench. It was a simple picnic made up of last nights left over rotisserie chicken in sandwiches and fruit. The plan was to have an ice cream but the frappuchino on the way was sweet enough!Turns out we parked about 50m from where we did in January and then went to the same outlet shopping place… I NEED to go back post baby though as trying stuff on is a bit tricky with bump!On the way home we realised how lucky we’d been as the heavens opened, welcome to August!!
