A 10th anniversary gift built around your ten years

The tenth is the tin anniversary. Tin lasts, it bends without breaking, and after a decade together that is a fair description of the two of you. This gift takes the tradition and does something with it, giving you a year of dates to enjoy rather than an object to look at once and put away.

Inside the tin are 12 silver and cream envelopes, each holding a sealed card with a date idea. You open one a month, or more often if you would rather not wait, and do the thing on the card together. The ideas run from a night in to a proper day out, and they are written to suit any couple and any budget. There is nothing outlandish in there. If parachuting is more your style, that is what the blank cards are for.

Make two of the dates your own

Alongside the sealed cards are two blank cards with unsealed envelopes. Write your own date ideas, seal them, and mix them in so they turn up as a surprise like all the others. Do it yourself before gifting, or leave them for the couple to fill in together.

How the personalisation works

Choose your font, then add the couple’s names and a short message. We print exactly what you enter, so check the spelling before you order. Personalised tins cannot be returned, which is why the page asks you to confirm the details are right.

Sending it as a gift

Every order goes out in plain packaging, so nothing is given away in transit or on the doorstep. You can send it to your own address or straight to the couple, and add a gift message at checkout that we print and include with the order.

The details

The tin measures approximately 14cm x 10cm x 4cm. It holds 12 sealed date cards plus 2 blank cards and envelopes. Free UK delivery is included on this gift.

Environment

We aim to produce gifts that are 100% recyclable, and we encourage all those enjoying opening envelopes to recycle them after they’ve completed their activities.

Our boxes are 100% recyclable, and are constructed from ‘greyboard’ which is made from a mix of recycled and waste paper. The outer wrap paper is also recyclable.

Where possible, the paper we use for our card and envelopes is sourced from FSC-certified suppliers.

Shipping Information

We wish we could hand deliver every order placed with us. Unfortunately, this isn’t possible – so we have to rely on the postman.

We offer free Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivery on orders to the mainland UK over £20. These are usually delivered within 2-3 working days, but this is not guaranteed.
We offer an upgrade to Tracked 24 (next working day) or express which is sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery.

You can choose to have your order delivered to your own address, sent directly to the recipient or delivered to a Royal Mail parcel locker or collection point convenient for you. Please note the lockers will hold the order for 3 days, returned orders will be subject to additional charge to resend.

We also offer free international shipping on orders over £60 to most countries.

Our international orders are sent via Royal Mail International, and tracked depending on the destination.

Tracking is provided on all orders once dispatched and will be shown in your dispatch email.

We aim to send your order within 1 working day of receiving your payment. Orders received before 1pm UK time will be shipped the same day (excluding weekends and bank holidays).
